Marisa knew that she would pursue agriculture from the moment she zipped up her blue corduroy East Robertson FFA jacket for the first time. After falling in love with the culture among FFA members, she participated in Career Development and Leadership Development Events of all sorts. She served as her home chapter's chaplain, secretary, and president. Once college approached, she continued her involvement in FFA by joining the Collegiate FFA Chapter at Tech where she now serves as the chapter president. As president, she hopes to expand membership and recruit members from all disciplines across the university.

Three Fun Facts about Marisa:

1. Marisa loves to go hiking! One of her favorite things about Tennessee Tech is its proximity to some of the state's most beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails

2. Marisa eats at Blue Coast Burrito every single week of the school year. She did not go one single week without eating it last year!

3. Marisa is the oldest of four girls!
