Agriculture Business

Courtney originally comes from the Station Camp FFA chapter. While she admits she originally knew nothing about the agriculture industry as a freshman in high school, she knew that she wanted to be an "agvocate" for the rest of her life after her first state FFA convention. From there she has developed a love for agriculture through a variety of Career and Leadership Development Events, including dairy judging, floriculture, food science and technology, and the Cooperative Development Challenge. The one thing she says she loves is how FFA emphasizes how important it is to make everyone feel validated and looks forward to try to make every member of Tennessee Tech's Collegiate FFA feel important this upcoming year.

Three Fun Facts about Courtney:

1. She loves anything involving her favorite TV show Parks and Recreation, fanny packs, and her favorite comedian, John Mulaney.

2. Courtney is only 5 ft tall! While she may be extremely short, she makes up for it with her big personality.

3. She claims to have the taste buds of a five year old, as her favorite food is chicken tenders!
